A logo commission by Derbyshire based semi-professional blacksmith.

This local maker uses their name as their brand, so I wanted this logo to combine their initials, P and F, with the shape of the tools of their trade. Through concept exploration I found that reversing one of the initial meant that I could create a bold, minimalist shape that also looked like and represented their tools.

This logo was used across a variety of media, including printed leaflets and online as well as being etched into various metalworks.

Fun fact: It was really exciting to go behind the scenes and see this acid-etching in person!
